Background & Operator Experience

My background combines finance, technology, law and hands-on operator experience. I originally trained as a bioengineer at Imperial College London, qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant with CIMA, and later completed a legal degree at the University of Law. That mix shapes the way I work: analytical, commercially minded and practical.

Technical, finance and legal foundation

An engineering background gives me a structured, analytical approach to problem-solving. CIMA training adds commercial finance discipline, while my legal degree helps me think clearly about governance, contracts, risk and decision-making.

First finance hire at Kheiron

At Kheiron Medical Technologies, a venture-backed AI MedTech company, I joined as the first finance hire and built the finance function from scratch. As the company scaled from around 20 to more than 80 people across multiple international entities, I led finance operations, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, controls, audit, tax, investor reporting and board support.

Fundraising, M&A and scale-up experience

I supported fundraising and M&A activity exceeding $60m, including Series A, bridge and extension rounds, due diligence, investor reporting, acquisition workstreams and post-acquisition integration. Following Kheiron’s acquisition by DeepHealth, I continued to lead finance workstreams across UK and Australian entities.
